A bsalom s’imbatté nella gente di Davide. Absalom cavalcava il suo mulo; il suo mulo entrò sotto i rami intrecciati di un grande terebinto e la testa di Absalom s’impigliò nel terebinto, in modo che egli rimase sospeso fra il cielo e la terra, mentre il mulo, che era sotto di lui, passava oltre.

Then Absalom met the servants of David. Absalom rode on a mule. The mule went under the thick boughs of a great terebinth tree, and his head caught in the terebinth; so he was left hanging between heaven and earth. And the mule which was under him went on.
