A llora Absalom diede quest’ordine ai suoi servi: «Badate, quando Amnon avrà il cuore riscaldato dal vino e io vi dirò: “Colpite Amnon!”, uccidetelo, e non abbiate paura; non sono io che ve lo comando? Fatevi coraggio e comportatevi da forti!»

Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon, then kill him. Fear not; have I not commanded you? Be courageous, and be valiant.
