G iuseppe ne fece una legge, che dura fino al giorno d’oggi, secondo la quale un quinto del reddito delle terre d’Egitto era per il faraone. Soltanto le terre dei sacerdoti non diventarono del faraone.

And Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth; only the land of the priests alone became not Pharaoh's.
