P erché dovremmo morire sotto i tuoi occhi, noi e le nostre terre? Compra noi e le nostre terre in cambio del pane; noi con le nostre terre saremo schiavi del faraone. Dacci della semenza perché possiamo vivere e non morire, e il suolo non diventi un deserto».

Why shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be slaves unto Pharaoh, and give us seed that we may live, and not die, that the land not be desolate.
