Q uando il denaro fu esaurito nel paese d’Egitto e nel paese di Canaan, tutti gli Egiziani vennero da Giuseppe e dissero: «Dacci del pane! Perché dovremmo morire in tua presenza? Infatti il denaro è finito».

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.
