Q uelli risposero: «Quell’uomo c’interrogò minuziosamente intorno a noi e al nostro parentado, dicendo: “Vostro padre vive ancora? Avete qualche altro fratello?” Noi gli rispondemmo secondo le sue domande. Non potevamo sapere che ci avrebbe detto: “Fate venire vostro fratello!”»

And they said, The man asked us straightforward questions about ourselves and our relatives. He said, Is your father still alive? Have you another brother? And we answered him accordingly. How could we know that he would say, Bring your brother down here?
