S e il Dio di mio padre, il Dio di Abraamo e il Terrore d’Isacco non fosse stato con me, ora tu mi avresti certo rimandato a mani vuote. Dio ha visto la mia afflizione e la fatica delle mie mani e la notte scorsa ha pronunciato la sua sentenza».

Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the Fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now hadst thou sent me away empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.
