C ome Giacobbe, sul far della sera, se ne tornava nei campi, Lea uscì a incontrarlo, e gli disse: «Vieni da me, perché ti ho preso per me con le mandragole di mio figlio». Ed egli si coricò con lei quella notte.

Jacob came from the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, “You must come in to me; for I have surely hired you with my son’s mandrakes.” He lay with her that night.
