C osì egli scacciò l’uomo e pose a oriente del giardino di Eden i cherubini, che vibravano da ogni parte una spada fiammeggiante, per custodire la via dell’albero della vita.

So he drove out the man; and he placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
