M a prima che si fossero coricati, gli uomini della città, i Sodomiti, circondarono la casa: giovani e vecchi, la popolazione intera venuta da ogni lato. Chiamarono Lot e gli dissero:

Before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, from the youngest to the oldest—all the people from every quarter.
