T era prese Abramo, suo figlio, e Lot, figlio di Aran, cioè figlio di suo figlio, e Sarai sua nuora, moglie di Abramo suo figlio, e uscì con loro da Ur dei Caldei per andare nel paese di Canaan. Essi giunsero fino a Caran, e là soggiornarono.

Terah took Abram his son, Lot the son of Haran, his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife. They went from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan. They came to Haran and lived there.
