A Eber nacquero due figli; il nome dell’uno fu Peleg, perché ai suoi giorni la terra fu spartita; e il nome di suo fratello fu Ioctan.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, because the earth were divided up in his days; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
