T hen Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you troubled my rest by bringing me up?” Saul answered, “I am very troubled. The Philistines are making war against me. And God has left me and answers me no more, by those who speak for Him or by dreams. So I have called you to tell me what I should do.”

Y Samuel dijo a Saúl: ¿Por qué me has inquietado haciéndome venir? Y Saúl respondió: Estoy muy angustiado, pues los filisteos pelean contra mí, y Dios se ha apartado de mí, y no me responde más, ni por medio de profetas ni por sueños; por esto te he llamado, para que me declares lo que tengo que hacer.
