T he men of Israel and Judah rose up and called out and went after the Philistines as far as Gath and the gates of Ekron. The dead Philistines lay on the way from Shaaraim as far as Gath and Ekron.

Şi bărbaţii lui Israel şi Iuda au dat chiote, şi au pornit în urmărirea Filistenilor pînă în vale şi pînă la porţile Ecronului. Filistenii, răniţi de moarte, au căzut pe drumul care duce la Şaaraim pînă la Gat şi pînă la Ecron.
