H e took his stick in his hand, and chose five smooth stones from the river. He put them in his shepherd’s bag. His sling was in his hand, and he went to the Philistine.

Poi prese in mano il suo bastone, si scelse nel torrente cinque pietre lisce, le pose nella sacca da pastore, in un sacchetto che aveva; poi, con la sua fionda in mano, mosse contro il Filisteo.
