W hen Samuel got up early in the morning to meet Saul, he was told, “Saul came to Carmel and set up a stone in his honor. Then he turned and went down to Gilgal.”

Poi si alzò la mattina di buon’ora e andò a incontrare Saul; ma vennero a dire a Samuele: «Saul è andato a Carmel, e là si è fatto un monumento; poi se n’è ritornato e, passando da un’altra parte, è sceso a Ghilgal».
