T hey did not show kindness to the family of Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon). They did not remember all the good he had done to Israel.

وَلَمْ يُظهِرُوا وَلاءً لِعائِلَةِ يَرُبَّعَلَ لِقاءَ كُلِّ ما صَنَعَهُ مِنْ خَيرٍ لِبَنِي إسْرائِيلَ.
