T hen the men of Israel said to Gideon, “Rule over us, both you and your son, and your grandson also. For you have set us free from the power of Midian.”

حِينَئِذٍ، قالَ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ لِجِدْعُونَ: «احكُمْنا أنتَ وَابْنُكَ وَحَفِيدُكَ. فَقَدْ خَلَّصْتَنا مِنْ سَيطَرَةِ المِدْيانِيِّينَ.»
