S o the anger of the Lord was against Israel. He sold them into the hand of Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia. The people of Israel worked for Cushan-rishathaim for eight years.

Da ergrimmte der Zorn des HERRN über Israel, und er verkaufte sie unter die Hand Kusan-Risathaims, des Königs von Mesopotamien; und dienten also die Kinder Israel dem Kusan-Risathaim acht Jahre.
