B ut the people did not listen to those chosen to judge. The people were not faithful to the Lord and they worshiped other gods. They were quick to turn aside from the way their fathers had walked in obeying the Laws of the Lord. They did not do as their fathers had done.

Та вони не слухалися також своїх суддів, бо блудили за іншими богами, і вклонялися їм. Вони скоро відхилялися з тієї дороги, якою йшли їхні батьки, щоб слухатися Господніх наказів. Вони так не робили!
