B ut the men would not listen to him. So the Levite took hold of his woman and brought her out to them. The men had sex with her all night until morning. When the sun came up, they let her go.

Oamenii însă n-au vrut să-l asculte. Atunci călătorul şi-a înşfăcat ţiitoarea şi le-a scos-o afară. Ei au necinstit-o şi au abuzat de ea toată noaptea, până dimineaţa. Apoi, când a început să se crape de ziuă, au lăsat-o să plece.
