T he walls were on twelve stones. The names of the twelve missionaries of the Lamb were written on the stones.

وَكانَ سُورُ المَدِينَةِ مَبنِيّاً عَلَى اثنَي عَشَرَ حَجَرَ أساسٍ، كُتِبَتْ عَلَيها أسماءُ رُسُلِ الحَمَلِ الاثنَي عَشَرَ.
