T hen Joshua said to the people, “You will not be able to serve the Lord. For He is a holy God. He is a jealous God. He will not forgive your wrong-doing or your sins.

Josué dit au peuple: Vous n'aurez pas la force de servir l'Éternel, car c'est un Dieu saint, c'est un Dieu jaloux; il ne pardonnera point vos transgressions et vos péchés.
