T he news pleased the people of Israel, and they gave thanks to God. They said no more about going against them in war, to destroy the land where the people of Reuben and Gad were living.

以 色 列 人 以 這 事 為 美 ， 就 稱 頌 神 ， 不 再 提 上 去 攻 打 流 便 人 、 迦 得 人 、 毀 壞 他 們 所 住 的 地 了 。
