T he sons of Reuben and Gad and the half-family group of Manasseh came to the Jordan River. Before they crossed the Jordan, they built a very large altar on the Canaan side of the Jordan.

Y cuando llegaron a la región del Jordán que está en la tierra de Canaán, los hijos de Rubén, los hijos de Gad y la media tribu de Manasés, edificaron allí un altar junto al Jordán, un altar de aspecto grande.
