H e took it, its king and all its cities. He destroyed them with the sword. Every person in it was destroyed. No one was left alive. He did the same to Debir and its king as he had done to Hebron and Libnah and their kings.

La conquistó, con su rey y todas sus ciudades, hiriéndolas a filo de espada; y destruyó por completo a todas las personas que había en ella. No dejó sobreviviente alguno. Como había hecho con Hebrón, y como había hecho también con Libna y su rey, así hizo con Debir y su rey.
