O nly you did not go near the land of the sons of Ammon, all along the river Jabbok and the cities of the hill country. You did not go where the Lord our God told us not to go.

Ma non ti avvicinasti al paese dei figli di Ammon, a nessuno dei posti toccati dal torrente Iabboc, né alle città della zona montuosa, né ai luoghi che il Signore, il nostro Dio, ci aveva proibiti di attaccare.
