H e knew this before and spoke of Christ being raised from the dead. Christ’s soul would not be left in hell. His body would not be destroyed.

He, foreseeing this, spoke of the resurrection of the Christ (the Messiah) that He was not deserted and left in Hades (the state of departed spirits), nor did His body know decay or see destruction.
