H e was one who spoke for God. He knew God had made a promise to him. From his family Christ would come and take His place as King.

لَكِنَّهُ كانَ نَبِيّاً، وَقَدْ عَرَفَ أنَّ اللهَ قَطَعَ لَهُ وَعداً مَصحُوباً بِقَسَمٍ بِأنَّهُ سَيُجلِسُ واحِداً مِنْ نَسلِهِ عَلَى عَرشِهِ.
