T hey made tents for a living. Paul did the same kind of work so he stayed with them and they worked together.

وَلِأنَّ حِرفَتَهُ وَحِرفَتَهُما واحِدَةٌ، فَقَدْ بَقِيَ وَعَمِلَ مَعَهُما، إذْ كانا صانِعَيْ خِيامٍ.
