T he night before Herod was to bring him out for his trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers. He was tied with two chains. Soldiers stood by the door and watched the prison.

Nella notte che precedeva il giorno in cui Erode voleva farlo comparire, Pietro stava dormendo in mezzo a due soldati, legato con due catene; e le sentinelle davanti alla porta custodivano il carcere.
