J ohn was baptizing in the town of Aenon near Salim. There was much water there and people were coming to be baptized.

Johannes aber taufte auch noch zu Enon, nahe bei Salim, denn es war viel Wasser daselbst; und sie kamen dahin und ließen sich taufen.
