T hen the head religious leaders of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The King of the Jews’! Write, ‘He said, I am the King of the Jews.’”

فَقالَ كِبارُ كَهَنَةِ اليَهُودِ لِبِيلاطُسَ: «لا تَكتُبْ ‹مَلِكَ اليَهُودِ،› بَلِ اكتُبْ: ‹قالَ هَذا الرَّجُلُ: أنا مَلِكُ اليَهُودِ.›»
