T he Lord turned and looked at Peter. He remembered the Lord had said, “Before a rooster crows, you will say three times that you do not know Me.”

فَالتَفَتَ الرَّبُّ وَنَظَرَ إلَى بُطرُسَ. فَتَذَكَّرَ بُطرُسُ حينَئِذٍ قَولَ الرَّبِّ لَهُ: «سَتُنكِرُنِي ثَلاثَ مَرّاتٍ قَبلَ أنْ يَصِيحَ الدِّيكُ اليَومَ.»
