T he proud religious law-keepers and some of the teachers of the Law had come from Jerusalem. They gathered around Jesus.

وَاجتَمَعَ حَولَهُ بَعضُ الفِرِّيسِيِّينَ وَمُعَلِّمِي الشَّرِيعَةِ الَّذِينَ جاءُوا مِنَ القُدسِ.
