I f the Lord had not made those days short, no life would have been saved. Because of God’s people whom He has chosen, He made the days short. The False Religious Teachers

And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no human being would be saved (rescued); but for the sake of the elect, His chosen ones (those whom He picked out for Himself), He has shortened the days.
