I f your hand or your foot is the reason you sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to go into life without a hand or a foot, than to have two hands or two feet and to be thrown into the fire of hell.

Por tanto, si tu mano o tu pie te llevan a pecar, córtatelos y deséchalos. Es mejor que entres en la vida cojo o manco, y no que tengas las dos manos o los dos pies y seas echado en el fuego eterno.
