F or every first-born among the people of Israel is Mine, both of man and animal. I set them apart for Myself on the day that I killed all the first-born in the land of Egypt.

Toţi întâii născuţi ai israeliţilor sunt ai Mei, atât dintre oameni, cât şi dintre animale. Mie Mi i-am închinat în ziua în care i-am lovit pe toţi întâii născuţi din ţara Egiptului.
