Hosea 9:10 ~ Osea 9:10

“ I found Israel like grapes in the desert. I saw your fathers like the first-fruit on the fig tree in its first year. But they came to Baal-peor and gave themselves to that false god of shame. They became as sinful as the thing they loved.

Precum găsirea unor struguri în pustie a fost atunci când l-am găsit pe Israel; ca vederea primelor roade coapte dintr-un smochin a fost atunci când i-am văzut pe strămoşii voştri. Dar când au ajuns la Baal-Peor, s-au dedicat Ruşinii şi au ajuns o urâciune, la fel ca cel pe care-l iubeau.
