B ecause the king had spoken that the fire was to be very hot, those men who put Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego into the fire were killed by the fire.

وَلِضَرورَةِ الإسراعِ بِتَنفِيذِ أمرِ المَلِكِ وَلأنَّ الفُرنَ حُمِّيَ سَبعَةَ أضعافٍ عَنِ المُعتادِ، فَإنَّ الجُنُودَ الَّذيِنَ ألقَوْا شَدْرَخَ وَمِيشَخَ وَعَبْدَنَغُوَ إلَى الفُرنِ احتَرَقُوا حَتَّى المَوتِ مِنْ لَهَبِ النّارِ.
