A s they were killing, I alone was left, and I fell on my face and cried out, “It is bad, O Lord God! Are You destroying all the people of Israel who are left, by pouring out Your anger on Jerusalem?”

Pe cînd ucideau ei astfel, şi eu stam încă singur acolo, am căzut cu faţa la pămînt, şi am strigat:,, Ah! Doamne Dumnezeule, vrei să nimiceşti oare tot ce a mai rămas din Israel, vărsîndu-Ţi urgia asupra Ierusalimului?``
