T he south side is as long as 2, 250 long steps. The three gates on this side will be the gate of Simeon, the gate of Issachar, and the gate of Zebulun.

وَطُولُ سُورِ المَدِينَةِ مِنْ جِهَةِ الجَنُوبِ أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ، وَبَوّاباتُ الجِهَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ هِيَ شِمْعُونُ وَيَسّاكِرُ وَزَبُولُونُ.
