“ Son of man, take one stick of wood and write on it, ‘For Judah and for the people of Israel with him.’ Then take another stick of wood and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the people of Israel with him.’

„Fiul omului, ia o bucată de lemn şi scrie pe ea: «Pentru Iuda şi pentru israeliţi, aliaţii săi». Ia apoi o altă bucată de lemn şi scrie pe ea: «Pentru Iosif, bucata de lemn a lui Efraim, şi pentru toţi cei din Casa lui Israel, care-i sunt aliaţi».
