T ell them, ‘The Lord God says, “On the day I chose Israel, I raised My hand and made a promise to the children of the family of Jacob and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt. I made a promise to them, saying, ‘I am the Lord your God.’

Tu leur diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Le jour où j'ai choisi Israël, j'ai levé ma main vers la postérité de la maison de Jacob, et je me suis fait connaître à eux dans le pays d'Égypte; j'ai levé ma main vers eux, en disant: Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
