S o I promised them in the desert that I would not bring them into the land I had given them, the land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.

رَفَعتُ يَدِي وَأقسَمتُ لَهُمْ فِي الصَّحراءِ إنِّي لَنْ أُدخِلَهُمْ إلَى الأرْضِ الَّتِي أعطَيتُها لَهُمْ – إلَى أرْضٍ تَفِيضُ لَبَناً وَعَسَلاً، وَهِيَ الأجمَلِ بَينَ البِلادِ.
