T hey have lied and have spoken false words using their secret ways, saying, ‘This is what the Lord says,’ when the Lord has not sent them. Yet they hope that what they say will come true.

Ihr Gesicht ist nichts, und ihr Weissagen ist eitel Lügen. Sie sprechen: "Der HERR hat's gesagt", so sie doch der HERR nicht gesandt hat, und warten, daß ihr Wort bestehe.
