T hen the city was broken into, and all the men of war ran away. They left the city at night by way of the gate between the two walls, by the king’s garden, while the Babylonians were all around the city. They went by way of the Arabah.

se abrió una brecha en la ciudad, y todos los hombres de guerra huyeron y salieron de la ciudad de noche por el camino de la puerta entre los dos muros que había junto al jardín del rey, a pesar de que los Caldeos estaban alrededor de la ciudad, y se fueron por el camino del Arabá (del Valle del Jordán).
