T hen they said to Jeremiah, “May the Lord be true and faithful to speak against us if we do not do all that the Lord your God tells you we must do.

فَقالُوا لإرْمِيا: «لِيَكُنِ اللهُ شاهِداً أمِيناً عَلَينا إنْ كُنّا لا نَعمَلُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ يُخبِرُنا إلَهُكَ بِهِ مِنْ خِلالِكَ.
