T hen he put all the rest of the Jews in chains who were in Mizpah, the king’s daughters and all the people left in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan, the captain of the prison soldiers, had put under the rule of Gedaliah the son of Ahikam. Then Ishmael the son of Nethaniah took them and started to cross over to the sons of Ammon.

Después llevó Ismael cautivo a todo el resto del pueblo que estaba en Mizpá, a las hijas del rey y a todo el pueblo que había quedado en Mizpá, el cual, Nabuzaradán, capitán de la guardia, había encomendado a Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam. Los llevó, pues, cautivos Ismael, hijo de Netanías, y se fue a pasarse a los hijos de Amón.
