B ut Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said to Johanan the son of Kareah, “Do not do this. For you are telling a lie about Ishmael.”

وَلَكِنَّ جَدَليا بْنَ أخِيقامَ قالَ لِيُوحانانَ بْنَ قارِيحَ: «لا تَعمَلْ هَذا الأمرَ، لأنَّ ما تَقُولُهُ عَنْ إسْماعِيلَ كَذِبٌ.»
